臼井先生功徳の碑 Usui Sensei Koutoku no Hi

明治大正昭和にかけて、霊気と名の付く民間療法は数多くありました。

臼井甕男が創始した「臼井霊気療法」もそのひとつです。

ただ他と違うところは、手当による治療は入口であり、最終的には安定した心で人生の喜びを体現するところまで人々を導こうとしたところです。

珍しく東京に行く機会があった先月、創始者にお礼を言いに？行ってまいりました。

In Japan, there were many Reiki therapies even before Usui Sensei.  They were popular as people were too poor to have medical care.   Among those therapies, Usui Sensei's method, the Usui Reiki Ryoho, is very unique; he systematized it to lead many people to ultimate happiness.  Without this concept, our practice could end up with just another reiki thing. I truly thank Sensei that he started this great method and kindly made it available to us.

風が強く、寒い朝でしたが

ありがとうございますとお墓に手を合わせると

背中から暖かい太陽の光が…

It was a cold windy morning.  When I prayed with hands in Gassho, gentle and warm sunlight touched me on my back.
